The Victoria and Albert (V & A) Museum is the creative source for this collection of textiles and other treasures from a variety of different cultures. The book contains 25 of the designs from the V & A archives which can be adapted by needlepoint enthusiasts of the present. The book has been arranged room by room, from the sitting room to the study, and features some classic designs for cushions, chair covers, rugs, footstools, curtain pelments, bed drapes and fire screens.
